This will be the first of several conversations focused more on questions than answers, opportunities for us to live into our ideas and our ideals as a seekers church. All are invited to come – no need to RSVP.

Thursday, March 4th at 6:00pm in the McAfee Parlor – Lenten Bible study group. This group meets weekly through Lent and examines the scripture for the following Sunday.

Sunday March 7th – Please submit thoughts and questions that you think would be helpful for the Pastoral Search committee to consider when we interact with candidates for our pastor to Mary Rolston by today – see above.

Sunday, March 7th at 10:30am – Communion worship at UBC; Third Sunday of Lent. The focus this Sunday will be on grief; Brooke Rolston will share his experiences around a special type of grief associated with suicide.

Sunday, March 7th at Noon – “Undoing Racism” Lunch at Seattle First Baptist Church. Our friends at Seattle First Baptist Church have invited us to attend their “Undoing Racism” luncheon on Sunday, March 7th at noon. This is an opportunity to hear what they are doing around racial justice and make connections. If you are able to come, please contact Tom Nielsen at TNielsen7@aol.com or 206-932-5430 so we can coordinate this and let SFBC know how many are coming.

Update: this event is now a benefit for relief efforts for the people of Chile and has been relocated to University Christian Church, 4731 15th Ave NE.
