Thanks to all of you who helped welcome the neighborhood into our life together on Sunday. I hear we had 9 or 10 who ventured in. More than that, many of you ventured out to the street and invited folks in for coffee, lemonade, and treats. Thursday: Soul Soup at 6:00 p.m. in the McAfee Parlor followed by conversation on the text for next Sunday. Note: This will be the last Soul Soup of the season. Join us on Thursday, June 5, for the first of the garden gatherings at Ross & Eleanor Dimm's.

Sunday: Memorial Weekend Sunday: Mission Accomplished?
Choir at 9:00 a.m. and Worship at 10:30 led by Tim to honor our veterans and to pray for peace.

Sat., May 31: Dinner & A Movie at 6:00 p.m. See the movie, "Under the Tuscan Sun", and enjoy a lasagna dinner hosted by Rhonda Hue. Donations to benefit the new Retreat Center Project at Camp Burton.

And June is our month-long celebration of our Welcoming & Affirming commitment with the series: "The Bible Tells Me So: From texts of terror to transformation." Join us for movies, conversation, study, and worship.
