Opportunities for Action

The organizations listed below are faith-based or secular organizations working on social justice issues in our community, state and at the Federal level. Each of these organizations regularly publishes Action Alerts to focus our attention on issues that we can help to affect a positive outcome.

The Lutheran Public Policy Office (LPPO) of Washington State believes that to advocate is to plead the cause of those suffering injustice.  This page is updated regularly with news on legislative and other issues of interest to those who advocate for justice.

Statewide Poverty Action Network builds grassroots power to end causes of poverty and create opportunities for everyone to prosper. This page has regular updates with direct links to opportunities to make your voice heard on behalf of those who suffer from injustices of many forms.
